What makes EQUIP-Boot Camp Different from other Camps?

Here, at Transform Student Ministries, one of the primary means of enriching lives through God’s Word is focused-transformational discipleship. We believe that the great commission is not an option and therefore, believe that the students who attend EQUIP-Boot Camp 2015 are part of this call. One of the major focuses at camp is showing students practical ways they can take what they have received through spending time in God’s Word and then transition that truth into their everyday lives. Students at EQUIP-Boot Camp will be encouraged to think through an action plan for discipling their friends or even younger family members once they return home. Our camp staff is committed to prepare students to fulfill the great commission and they will also follow up with the campers throughout the year following EQUIP-Boot Camp. With a student/staff ratio of 4 to 1, students will be able to receive the attention that is needed to help them understand the skills of inductive bible study, the meaning of what they are studying, and direction in how to apply what they are learning to life.

Like many other camps, fun games and activities play an integral part of the experience; however, parents can know that they are making a lifetime investment. EQUIP-Boot Camp 2015 will forever impact the lives of those who attend. Our desire is that everyone who takes part in EQUIP-Boot Camp will leave firmly established in God’s Word, living as an exemplary followers of Jesus Christ, studying the Bible inductively, viewing the world biblically, making disciples intentionally, and serving the church faithfully in the power of the Holy Spirit.

“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5)
