“Wow! We’ve studied for 3 hours? It feels like 20 minutes!”
“Can’t we have 4 hours to study?”
Those were some of the comments that were heard in class today as the students were studying 1 John. After reading the whole book 5 or 6 times yesterday, we started doing chapter studies today! What was amazing was that they wanted MORE time!
This is is always encouraging to see and hear. We pray that the fruit of this limited time in classes will lead into a lifetime relationship with God and His Word.
This is about the time that friendships are being strengthened. Will you pray for students as they begin to form this fellowship with each other?
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— 2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeedour fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. ~1 John 1:1-4 (ESV).
