Costs: Participants are required to raise $3500 support.
Raising Support: We ask that you contact people to partner with you in this opportunity instead of writing a check or having your parents pay for you. This allows others to participate in advancing God’s work and His Kingdom.
Salary: You’ll be paid $2000 for the summer experience; this includes a $1000 stipend for the program as well as $1000 for your work at Boot Camps.

Download and fill out Intern Application and return no later than November 14 , 2011.
Interns will be selected by Transform’s staff after much prayer and phone interviews. A letter will be mailed to each applicant notifying them of their status no later than December 16, 2011.
If you are accepted, you will receive information with your acceptance letter which will help you prepare for the intern program.
Required Qualifications:
At least 20 years old. You must have graduated from High School on or before Spring 2010.
Active in a local church.
Active in personal or corporate Bible Study (preferably, Inductive Bible Studies).
Interested in serving and leading students (preferably already demonstrating this interest through involvement in some type of student ministry).
Willing and able to be an example in your Christian walk.
Mission:The mission of all Transform Student Ministries’ ventures is the same as Precept Ministries International, to establish people in God’s Word.
Lodging: On campus at Precept Ministries International. You’ll be rooming with other interns during the program.
Meals: We’ll provide meals, or money for meals, all summer ($25 per day), including weekends.
Hours: A strict summer schedule is impossible to predict. In addition to working Boot Camps, you should be prepared to work and study from 9am-5pm every weekday. You may also be needed for a couple of Saturdays, some Sunday-night and Wednesday-night obligations in addition to Boot Camps. Night activities could consist of work in local churches and service opportunities.
Boot Camp Responsibilities:
The following will be expected of all interns during Boot Camps.
TEAM LEADER—Responsible for students on team, team discussions, team study, counseling, mentoring, team sports, and kitchen duties.
ROOM COUNSELOR—Responsible for students in your room, evening devotions, direct room clean-up, and making sure rules are followed.
CLASSROOM TEACHER—Interns will co-teach during classroom time at Boot Camp.
OTHER DUTIES—General running of camp and various activities.
CAMP STUDY—You MUST have your study completed before you arrive for the Intern Program.
Boot Camp Dates (including Staff Orientation):
Camp 1: June 12 – 21, 2012
Camp 2: June 23 – July 2, 2012
Training: We are working with Precept Ministries International’s training department to ensure that you get the best training possible so you will be equipped to go out and teach others how to do inductive study, as well as lead effective small groups, and ultimately reproduce other Bible Study Leaders.
Skills and Knowledge Gained from Training Workshops:
Qualification to lead Precept Upon Precept Studies.
Effective study skills through the Inductive Study Method.
Basics needed to start a Bible Study in your own area.
Instruction on how to lead effective discussions resulting in life application.
More confidence in leadership ability.
Ability to lead Old Testament History, Prophecy, and topical studies/discussions.
Identifying definitions, grammatical structures, verbs to aid in accurate interpretation of Scripture, and investigate mood, voice and tense to shed new light on biblical text by using various study aids.
Examining biblical texts, grammatically exploring the author’s flow of thought through structuring.
Through a study on spiritual gifts, interns learn to evaluate and utilize their own spiritual gifts.
