Boot Camp is one of the most intensive Bible study and youth leadership programs in student ministry today!
What is Boot Camp?
Boot Camp is an intensive training in the Inductive Bible Study Method. It is designed for students ages 14-18. For seven days we lead students through an inductive study of a book of the Bible or topic, train interested students to lead and teach others using the Inductive Bible Study Method, and motivate them to be Christ-like leaders for their generation.
What will students walk away with after attending a boot camp?
- An understanding of how to study the Bible for themselves, using the book of 2 Timothy as a guide.
- Intense worship and challenging messages conveying the power of the gospel to this generation and God’s call on their lives.
- Opportunities for those interested to learn to lead inductive Bible studies.
- Meaningful fellowship enhanced by a large staff with a heart for students, a peer group with a similar passion for God, and an environment that encourages relationship.

What does a day of Boot Camp look like?
Each day at Boot Camp is the chance to discover something new. Here’s how it breaks down:
- Camp begins each morning with prayer.
- By 8:00 AM, both staff and students are off to breakfast.
- After breakfast, Transform Student Ministries Interns lead dynamic classroom sessions. These sessions are combinations of discussion and class work, and effectively train students to lead Inductive Bible Studies, so they walk away with a complete understanding of the process.
- After lunch, students will have team work and fellowship. Each camper will be part of a team at Boot Camp, where they’ll work together daily to compete in various team competitions. Although it is great to be on the winning team, the real value comes from working with others in an encouraging way and displaying Christ-like character.
- After sports, there is an hour of free time followed by dinner.
- After dinner, everyone will join together for the evening session. In addition to praise and worship, speakers hit on topics relevant to this generation, taken straight from the Word.
- Team Time: After the evening session, students end their day, as they meet with their teams for a time of encouragement and fellowship. Each team has two staff who lead them in a time of sharing, praying, and discussion. Most students say team time is one of their favorite times at camp, because you really get to know others and are able to challenge one another to live in light of the truths found in the Bible.
After eight days of such intensity, campers are surprised at the energy level they have. There’s something about Boot Camp—the in-depth training, the team environment, and the spiritual growth—that keeps them pumped to go share what they’ve learned with others.
