“God pour out Your grace, glorious grace, that I would be held by your perfect embrace. I am undeserving, You are high and worthy. All of my praise for this glorious grace!” -This Glorious Grace

A peaceful rain fell on our little valley this morning as a fitting backdrop for the last day of camp. Its stillness reminds us of the gravity of what we have studied this week in Genesis. Even so, its life-giving and renewing quality seems to wash our very souls.

During our final classroom session the students applied what they learned in Genesis by discussing current events relating to creation, marriage, family, and gender. After Jeremy’s talk yesterday, we have been thinking about the power that we have against temptation. We know that we have more than just an “example”.  We have GRACE. We have HOPE. We have a SAVIOR. This faith isn’t simply for better behavior, rather a life transformed by knowing WHO GOD IS. But what does it matter?

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16

Even so Come Lord Jesus.

Thank you for your continued prayers for our campers! We have two more weeks of EQUIP Boot Camp remaining, so be on the lookout for updates and prayer requests on social media. As we close out Camp 1, we would be so thankful for your support through prayer:

Pray for safe travels for campers as they travel to and from the ministry.

Pray for them as they transition back to home life and face temptation, that they would choose to run to our Savior.

Pray for opportunities to share with others the truths these campers have learned from God’s Word.

Because of this Glorious Grace,

The Transform Team
