It is our deepest desire and goal to see people established in God’s Word by spending intentional time in it, with Him. In order to help make this a reality for more of you, and to help those of you who are actively discipling others, we are posting a simple Bible study the first day of every month. It’s a personal study. It’s a resource to share.

In the coming year, we are going to supply those who attended EQUIP Boot Camp 2016 (and others who come across our blog) with these short inductive studies on various passages of Scripture that focus on key themes drawn from the book of Ephesians, which was the book studied this summer.

This month’s Transform Discipleship Resource is “Made Alive,” and focuses on the life we have if we are in Christ. We pray that this TDR will be encouraging for all who encounter it!

We want to make sure that students walk away from EQUIP Boot Camp, not just having had a great camp experience, or even just a great time doing the camp Bible study. We want to resource students throughout the year with a study tool that is simple, quick, and a great way to introduce someone to inductive study. These studies only take a few minutes and can be great nourishment for you, and a way to introduce others to inductive study as a resource to learn more about God through His Word.

These TDRs are topical, and focus on some of the basic steps of inductive Bible study (marking a couple words, and asking questions that help guide reflection on the Scriptures). No matter what season of life you’re in, we hope that this month’s Transform Discipleship Resource will bring you comfort, challenge, and refreshment as you look to the One who makes us alive through the death and burial of His Son. Click here to download “Made Alive” from Transform’s group page resources on the POC website. If you don’t already have an account, this document will show you how to do that.

There are many ways you can use these studies, and that’s what makes them so great! They can serve as an aid to personal quiet times or as a small group study with friends at school, co-workers during lunch, or with your family in the evening. They also are great for passing out to people you meet at a coffeehouse or to that curious individual who always wonders why you color in your Bible.

The staff of Transform has used these in many of the same ways – from our friends at college, to our roommates at home. We’ve found that they are a great tool for people who think that inductive Bible study is too hard, or who aren’t in a place where they feel comfortable committing to a longer study. It’s been so exciting to see others dig into the Scriptures and learn more about God, even if it’s just for a handful of verses!

Feel free to comment below if you have any questions or comments. Our team would love to hear if there’s any way we can serve you better, how these studies have encouraged you, or how God has led you to disciple others with these TDRs!
